As I'm sure you are aware we look forward to seeing each of you at your appointments, with that being said, we have had an overwhelming amount of last minute cancellations. We try to be as accommodating as possible because we know life happens.

Moving forward, we will be asking for an active credit card to hold each appointment you make. You will be charged 1 cent to authorize your card. We will be doing confirmation calls 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, on top of our automated text and email reminders.

If you have to cancel outside of the 48 hour time frame, you will be charged $25 for a stand alone haircut appointment and if you have a color appointment you will be charged 50% of the total amount you were booked for. Any discounts will be excluded.

If you are to reschedule instead of cancel your appointment, you must reschedule within 2 weeks from that date to avoid a charge. If you happen to reschedule that appointment a second time, you will be charged our cancellation fees stated above.

We totally get life happens and it is a weird time in the world right now. In the event your stylist has to cancel or reschedule your appointment, the client will receive our cancellation fees deducted from their appointment

($25 off a cut, 50% off color service)

(no additional discounts can be added).

We hope you understand this is a way to help keep our books solid and way to keep us growing as salon and stylist.  


In the result you are not satisfied with your service(s) at MJS, we will offer a "redo" free of charge within 2 weeks of your initial appointment.
